About Sudoku for Kids
Sudoku for Kids is a free, easy sudoku made for young puzzle solvers. Instead of a big 9 by 9 grid, it uses a small 4 by 4 grid with just four pictures, like an apple, a banana, grapes and an orange. It is the perfect first sudoku.
How to play
- The grid has 4 rows, 4 columns and 4 small boxes (2 by 2).
- Each row, each column and each small box must have every picture exactly once.
- Tap an empty square to select it, then tap the picture that belongs there.
- Each right answer is worth 1 point and finishing the grid is worth 5 more.
- You have 3 lives. Putting a picture where it cannot go costs one.
Gets a little harder each time
The first puzzles have only a few empty squares. Each new puzzle has more to fill in. Every puzzle is made fresh and checked to have exactly one answer. The pictures change from fruit to animals, weather, vehicles, colored circles and real numbers 1 to 4.
