About Clock Time
Clock Time is a free telling time game for kids. A big red alarm clock with a smiling face stands in a sunny meadow, and Ollie the owl sits on top between the bells. The clock hands spin round to a new time, and your job is to read the clock and tap the card that shows the right time. A friendly voice reads every answer out loud.
What kids learn
The game starts with o'clock times only, so a 4 year old can start by finding where the short hand points. After a few right answers it adds half past, then quarter past and quarter to, and finally any time in five minute steps. On every card the hour is red and the minutes are blue, just like the clock hands, so kids link the analog clock to the digital time and the words.
Clock Time is free, needs no sign-up and no download, and works on phones, tablets and computers.
