About Rainbow Painter
Rainbow Painter is a free rainbow colors game for kids. A big empty rainbow hangs over a sunny meadow, with two smiling clouds at its feet. Below it stand shiny paint pots, each one full of a different color. Tap the color that comes next and a magic paint brush flies up and sweeps the stripe across the sky. Paint all seven stripes and the rainbow shines, the clouds cheer and a new rainbow appears. It is a gentle paint the rainbow game that teaches the real order of the colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
It grows with your child
The first rainbow has only three pots, kept in order, and the right one glows. Then more pots appear and they get shuffled. After four rainbows the guide card goes away and kids paint the rainbow from memory, choosing from all seven colors. Children learn color names, the order of the rainbow (the old ROY G BIV trick), and how to follow a sequence step by step.
Rainbow Painter is free, needs no sign-up and no download, and works on phones, tablets and computers.
