About Whack a Mole
Whack a Mole is a free online version of the classic arcade game, made gentle and cute for kids. Cheeky moles in yellow hard hats pop up out of their holes, and you bonk them with a squeaky pink toy hammer. They just get a little dizzy and hide again.
How to play
- Tap or click a mole when it pops up.
- Each mole is worth 1 point. A golden mole with a crown is worth 5.
- Don't tap the bunny. It's only saying hello and gives no points.
- Each round lasts 45 seconds. Try to beat your best score!
Tips
- The moles get quicker as the round goes on, so stay ready.
- Golden moles hide faster than normal ones. Tap them first!
Is it okay for young kids?
Yes. There's no real hitting: the hammer squeaks and the moles just see stars. It's a fun way to practice quick reactions and telling things apart. Free to play with no sign-up or download, on phones, tablets and computers.
