About Word Connect
Word Connect is a free word puzzle game for kids, like Words of Wonders and other popular word swipe games. A circle of letters sits at the bottom of the screen, and empty boxes at the top show how many words are hidden and how long they are. Swipe across the letters to spell a word. If it fits, it drops into the boxes and the game reads it out loud!
What kids learn
The first levels use three letters and simple words like CAT, TOP and TEN. Later levels use five and six letters, with words like HORSE, PLANET and GARDEN hiding lots of smaller words inside. Word Connect builds spelling, reading and vocabulary. It is free on phones, tablets and computers, with no sign-up and no download.
