About Tidy Up Time
Tidy Up Time is a free sorting game for young children. The room is messy, and things are riding along a moving belt: a teddy bear, a pair of socks, a banana, a ball. Can you put everything where it belongs before it falls off the end?
How to play
- Look at the glowing thing at the front of the belt.
- Tap the box where it belongs: the Toy Box for toys, the Clothes basket for clothes, or the Fridge for food.
- Each thing you put away is worth 1 point.
- You have 3 lives. Choosing the wrong box, or letting something fall off the belt, costs one. The game tells you where it should go.
Learning to sort and group
Sorting things into groups is one of the first thinking skills children learn, and it's a big part of early math and science. There are almost thirty different things to sort, from yo-yos and kites to scarves, carrots and cheese. The belt starts slowly and speeds up as your child gets better.
