About Planet Hop
Planet Hop is a free space game for kids. A little rocket rides around a smiling planet as it spins. Somewhere above, another planet is waiting. Blast off at just the right moment and fly straight to it. How far into space can you go?
How to play
- Watch the rocket go around the planet.
- Tap the screen, or press Space, when the rocket points at the next planet. It blasts off in a straight line.
- Land on the planet for 1 point. Grab a twinkling star on the way for a bonus point.
- You have 3 lives. Missing the planet and flying off into space costs one, and your rocket comes back to try again.
A helpful start
For the first few hops a dotted line shows exactly where the rocket will fly, so young players can learn how it works. After that it's up to you! Planets get a little smaller and spin a little faster as you go, and they take turns spinning one way and then the other.
Planet Hop is great for practicing timing and patience. It's free on phones, tablets and computers, with no sign-up and nothing to download.
